This group meets monthly in one of our homes. Our goal is to have a quiet, comfortable place where people can hear each other and share feelings, thoughts and questions in a supportive environment.
The group is intended to serve anyone who has suffered a loss recently or in the past and is looking for support in navigating a new reality, sharing their experience or finding resources to cope with grief, loss or the challenges of living on one’s own.
There is no moderator for this group. We are simply people who share the experience of having lost someone dear to us and are looking for support or to provide support to others in a similar situation.

Curious to learn more about NEV’s Home Raised Garden Bed Program? Come join us for this Tour de Beds. Four NE Village members who received a raised garden bed are opening their yards to our Village community to come see the fruits of the labour of our amazing volunteers who constructed the beds, and to see what‘s growing in the beds. NEV‘s Soil to Supper volunteers will be on hand to answer questions, provide information about the advantages and opportunities a raised garden bed offers, and to talk about the builds themselves.
You can stop by one, two or all four of the beds on the tour in any order.
We will also be offering a Van with driver for village members needing transportation to the four gardens. Home pick-up and drop-off included. Space is limited to five passengers (Village members only). Please email lisapdx2@gmail.com to reserve your spot. First come, first served.
Note: Registration required for the van and the tour. Registrants will be sent an email with the addresses of the hosts.

BareBones Theater Productions presents "Here We Are Again Still" by Irish playwright Christian O‘Reilly. An Irish widower spends all his nights sitting by himself on a bench outside his housing complex. As his stubborn neighbor repeatedly urges him to get up and experience life, and a down-on-his-luck young newcomer decides to start frequenting the very same bench, the three lost souls find themselves forging an unexpected connection. Here We Are Again Still is a funny, heartfelt ode to community, finding purpose, and the beauty of the unknown. With Ted Rooney, Carla Grant, and Ben Lawrence.
This play is open to all members/volunteers of the NE Community Center and the Rose City Community Collective. Admission to the play is free but tickets are required. Donations gratefully accepted to benefit BareBones Productions.
Sponsored by Northeast Village and the Rose City Park Community Collective.
Recommended for ages 13+. Wheelchair accessible.
