What is this?
After covering a few science basics, we’ll define Biotechnology and provide examples of its impact on our lives. We’ll discuss some Biotechnology laboratory tools before everybody participates in a hands-on experiment to extract DNA from strawberries.
Presented by NEV volunteer Ian Harding. Ian retired last year after 30 years in Biotechnology R&D. The holder of 15 patents, Ian managed the launch of several products, including the world’s first FDA-approved DNA Sequencer.
Masks optional.
