The Sunday Parkways promote active living by opening our neighborhood’s streets for biking and walking. This year there are just two, but one is in our area and the other close by. If you haven’t been on a ride lately, Parkways are a good way to re-start. They have water and refreshments along the way and entertainment at the parks.<br /><br />The first event is in the Cully neighborhood and is a 6 mile loop. You are welcome to join NEVPDX member Craig Lindsay and his daughter and son-in-law on the ride if you want company. Bring family and friends too! Meet up at his house at 3105 NE 6Oth. They will be leave around 12:30pm. Remember to bring a bike helmet. <br /><br />PS: If you don’t have a bike but are interested in some fun, Craig has a couple of bikes that members or volunteers could borrow.
