NEV: Book Group 2 meets most months on the fourth Wednesday at 1pm to discuss the book we voted on previously (alternately fiction non-fiction).

Book for January: These Walls Between Us: A Memoir of Friendship Across Race and Class by Wendy Sanford. 2021. Nonfiction. Kindle or paperback from Broadway Books and Amazon. The story of Wendy’s friendship of 50 years with a Black woman that started when they were teenagers--one a rich white girl, the other the summer help. By one of the original authors of Our Bodies, Ourselves. Recommended by Janet Jump, who will contact her friend the author for further connection; stay tuned.
