If you are interested in volunteering, the first step is to attend an Introduction to Volunteering presentation, typically held monthly at various locations in NE Portland (see our Events calendar for info). After that, you will need to complete an application (see link below) and be interviewed by the Village Manager. All volunteers are also required to pass background and reference checks. Once those steps have been completed, volunteers need to attend a Volunteer Training. More information about the process:
