About this event
After a 30 year journey, from a lesbian relationship to marriage as husband and wife, Rivka & Tom Gevurtz explore the renewed repression of queer and trans people in this time of deepening authoritarianism.
Presenters: Rivka Gevurtz is a cis bi minister, Dean of an interfaith seminary and author of the new book, Love By Any Name. Tom Gevurtz is a transgender man, a veteran educator of more than 30 years, and a fourth generation Portlander, who lived for 50 years presenting as female and now 16 years as male. They are the parents of an adult nonbinary child.
