Learn how to make your home safer, more comfortable, and ready for the future through thoughtful design and accessibility planning. This educational session explores practical home modifications - such as shower conversions, ramps, and lighting improvements - as well as emerging smart home technologies that support independence and safety as we age.
Presenter: Kelly Nesbit is an Occupational Therapist with over 25 years of experience specializing in aging, home design, and accessibility. She is the founder of Adaptable Abodes, LLC, where she blends clinical expertise with remodeling and technology solutions to help individuals live safely and independently in their homes. Kelly is both a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) and holds an Executive Certificate in Home Modification (ECHM) from the USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology.
