The Page Turners will be discussing “The Secret Life of Wonder Woman” by Jill Lapore. This book of narrative nonfiction describes early feminist efforts to secure rights for education, the vote, birth control and work. This movement led to the improbable creation of Wonder Woman, the female superhero who even graced the cover of the first issue of Ms. Magazine in 1972.
