Disasters can happen anytime and anywhere. Here in the Northwest, we see wildfires, heatwaves, flooding, and ice storms and we are seeing them more frequently.Be Red Cross Ready: Winter Storms will help you prepare now to protect yourself, your loved ones, and your home.
Presenter: Robin Bacon-Shone is a volunteer presenter for the American Red Cross Northwest Oregon Disaster Preparedness team. A career educator and performer, Robin has trained and entertained people of all ages in a variety of skills: folk and tap dancing, choral singing and guitar playing, elementary and middle school best practices, and babysitting, CPR, and first aid for Red Cross certification. Most days you will find Robin on a brisk walk or working in her garden.
