WLLO Village hosts a running series of Monday Ted Talks, open to all villagers. Every Monday at 1 pm they watch a pre-selected Ted Talk, followed by a discussion and ideas for next week. They often enjoy lunch while meeting.
Topic: KIM STAFFORD OREGON POET LAUREATE 2018-2020
Kim Stafford, Oregon Poet Laureate 2018-2020, and retired writing professor from Lewis & Clark College, will share some of his poems, and talk about the benefits of adding a writing practice to your life. "Writing poems or short fragments" he says, "can wake us up to hidden blessings in our memories and our daily lives."
