Calendar - Event View

NEV's Book Group 2 meets most months to discuss the book we voted at the last meeting (alternately fiction & non-fiction). It’s a new book group, a good time for more members & volunteers & your guests to join us--someday filling our living rooms, but for now held via NEV's Zoom teleconferencing account using your computer/tablet/smartphone. Register using "Register Now" button and you’ll get an e-mail with Zoom link and password. Discussion the first 60-75 min. (depending on how many attendees) and then decision on next book and finalize next meeting.

Note we are combining November and December’s meetings into only one more meeting for this year on a different Wednesday. Next one end of January. Book for this discussion: “The Night Watchman” by Louise Erdrich, 2020. Novel based on Erdrich’s grandfather who worked as a night watchman and carried the fight against Native dispossession from rural North Dakota all the way to Wash DC.
